Caffeine is contained in more than 60 plants that grow in Africa and South America.
The word “caffeine” comes from the Arabic word for wine “gawah.” According to legend, the Arabs first began to use it 1,000 years ago as a drink made from the leaves of the coffee tree. From South Arabia, the use of caffeinated beverages spread throughout the Islamic world, and from there to Europe.
Today, caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate, some soft drinks, and also in most analgesics and stimulants.
Caffeine is a substance from the group of alkaloids (a nitrogen-containing organic compound, usually of plant origin).
It was chemically isolated in 1820. It is characterized by its stimulating and diuretic effect. It is completely absorbed by the body in about 30-45 minutes, after which it is retained for 3 to 6 hours. When using larger amounts, the concentration of the substance in the blood increases, and its retention in the body is prolonged. This can lead to unpleasant consequences.
Caffeine acts as a stimulant on the central nervous system, heart, stomach, and diuresis.
When it enters the body, caffeine causes the blood vessels of the brain to constrict, stimulates the spinal cord and the respiratory center in the diencephalon, and increases sensory sensitivity, mood, and physical performance.
Caffeine mainly affects the calcium “storage” sites in the body (an area known as the sarcoplasmic reticulum), which is a major factor in muscle contraction. Under the action of caffeine, an additional amount of calcium enters the muscles, which makes muscle contraction even stronger. As a result of this interaction, more intense training is possible. Caffeine increases the level of cyclic adenosine monophosphate, which is a mediator in many biological processes. This helps burn subcutaneous fat and accelerate metabolism. With reasonable intake, caffeine is an effective and safe ergogenic supplement. It helps improve training and reduce fat. In case of overdose, side effects such as nervousness, irritability, insomnia, rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure and stomach cramps are possible, and with high doses for a long period of time, an increase in plasma cholesterol and heart disease are possible.
For the purpose of burning fat, Caffine combines perfectly with Synephrine and Yohimbine.
Recommended dosage:
- Take 1 capsule per day.
- It is not recommended to consume caffeine after 6:00 PM.
