Marsh marguerite is a perennial plant that belongs to the Rosaceae family. It grows near bogs, swamps and streams. It is found in Asia and Europe, and is also found in Bulgaria. Its therapeutic properties have been known since the 19th century. In folk medicine, marsh marguerite is called the "herb against 40 diseases", precisely because of its broad-spectrum action.
