→ Lactobacillus rhamnosus
It is distributed in the intestines and on the mucous membrane of the urogenital tract. It protects the intestines and the genitourinary system from pathogenic microorganisms, including Escherichia coli and especially dangerous Enterococcus strains.
During its metabolism, L. rhamnosus secretes biosurfactants (surface-active substances) that prevent the attachment of pathogenic bacteria to the walls of the small intestinal epithelium.
It reduces the permeability of the intestinal mucosa during various inflammatory processes and prevents pathogens and their products from entering the systemic circulation.
It has been found to suppress the symptoms of peanut allergy.
→ Lactobacillus acidophilus
A microorganism widely distributed in the intestinal and oromucosal mucosa. It is particularly sensitive to antibiotics, which is why its deficiency is highly pronounced after antibiotic treatment.
It produces lactase (an enzyme that breaks down milk sugar) and also significant amounts of vitamin K, which protects the intestinal mucosa from bleeding. Another metabolite of L. acidophilus is hydrogen peroxide, which creates an unfavorable environment for pathogenic microorganisms.
In clinical settings, the synergistic activity of acidophilus in combination with bifidobacteria against acute diarrhea in children and adults has been proven.

It inhabits the colon and vaginal mucosa, as well as the lower segments of the small intestine. It is transmitted from the mother to the baby through the birth canal during natural childbirth, which is one of the reasons why some obstetricians and gynecologists prefer it over the option of a cesarean section. B. bifidum is a key probiotic for children and adults, balancing the effects of E. coli on intestinal health. It has antiviral effects, as well as a direct immunostimulatory effect.
