It contains a complex of medium-chain triglycerides. They are rarely found in nature (mainly in coconut oil), are absorbed very quickly without the need for additional enzymes, making them the fastest source of energy.
They provide twice as much energy (8.3 Kcal/g) compared to carbohydrates and proteins (4 Kcal/g), increasing thermogenesis in the body and, from there, the burning of subcutaneous fat.
Due to their rapid burning and half the oxygen requirement for oxidation /compared to other fats/, they cannot be stored as subcutaneous fat. Their presence in the body helps to more fully absorb nutrients from food. In addition, it improves the assimilation of fat-soluble vitamins, calcium and magnesium, reduces the level of bad cholesterol /LDL/ in the blood, thus normalizing the overall cholesterol balance.
Purpose:
➡ as a quick source of energy before training or competition;
➡ as a means of limiting catabolism;
➡ to reduce subcutaneous fat;
➡ for regulating and controlling cholesterol.
Directions: Start with 1 tablespoon twice daily with food (as an addition to salads or directly) for two days. Gradually increase the dose until reaching the optimal dose of 1-2 tablespoons twice daily. In case of taking large amounts (over 100 ml at a time) stomach problems are possible. Large doses of MCT OIL may increase the need for L-carnitine.
