PCOS Care provides two natural and complementary forms of inositol that have been clinically shown to improve both ovarian and metabolic function in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Many clinical trials with myo-inositol have shown positive effects on spontaneous ovulation and on meiotic maturation and egg quality, as well as improvements in metabolic risk factors and reduced androgen levels in women with PCOS. A meta-analysis of seven studies showed that myo-inositol increased pregnancy rates among subfertile women undergoing ovulation induction for ICSI or IVF-ET, as well as reduced the number of unfertilized eggs.

Similarly, D-chiro-inositol has been shown to improve ovarian function and metabolism, including positive changes in menstrual regularity, blood pressure, HOMA index, and hormones such as insulin and LH (luteinizing hormone). In PCOS Care, these complementary nutrients are combined in a 40:1 ratio, which has been shown to improve metabolic symptoms and IVF outcomes in women with PCOS more effectively than myo-inositol alone. The dosage ratio is as recommended by the International Consensus Conference on Myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
