Glutathione is the most abundant intracellular thiol (sulfur-containing compound) and low molecular weight tripeptide found in living cells. Thiols such as glutathione, alpha lipoic acid, and N-acetyl-L-cysteine ​​(NAC) are potent sulfur-containing antioxidants. Reduced glutathione GSH is the major endogenous antioxidant produced by the body, possessing tremendous potential to reduce oxidation. It participates both directly and indirectly in the neutralization of free radicals and reactive oxygen species. GSH also plays a critical role in maintaining levels of exogenous antioxidants such as vitamins C and E in their active forms.

Reduced Glutathione GSH neutralizes xenobiotics (insoluble, cell-toxic substances of various origins: pesticides, heavy metals, etc.), through conjugation reactions, in which they are converted into non-toxic water-soluble products that are excreted from the cells. High levels of glutathione and/or dietary intake are correlated with cardiovascular, liver, oral and eye health, as well as increased vitality during aging.

Recommended intake: 1 capsule per day with a meal or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
