Maria Treben® Bitterer Schwedentropfen is a herbal blend for making Swedish bitters yourself. It includes ingredients such as angelica root, myrrh (resin extract), wormwood, dried senna leaves, turmeric (rhizome extract), saffron crocus (stigma extract) and other medicinal plants. The combination of these ingredients is known for its beneficial effects on the gastrointestinal tract, liver and metabolic health.
Swedish Bitters is used both for therapeutic purposes over a long period of time and in occasional situations – after large meals or alcohol consumption. It is taken to relieve the burden on the digestive system. It is usually taken about ten minutes before meals or after large meals.

Preparation recommendations: Place the Swedish herbal mixture in a 2-liter wide-mouth bottle, add 2 x 0.7 liters of 38% vodka or fruit brandy. Leave in a warm place for 14 days. Shake once a day and strain at the end of the 14 days.
