Magnesium citrate, 150 mg

Magnesium is essential for the regulation of many cellular functions, ion channels, signaling pathways, enzymes, and metabolic pathways such as glycolysis, fatty acid oxidation, and DNA synthesis. Magnesium deficiency is associated with disorders such as insulin resistance, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, cancer, and high blood pressure. The citrate form of the supplement improves the bioavailability of magnesium, it chelates oxalates from food, and thus reduces the risk of kidney stone formation.
